“Here we are, at the beach. Just like Uncle said,” said Toran Darell, listening to the sound of the waves. “The beaches on Terminus were nice too, weren’t they, Bayta? Remember Bellis Cape when we went there together？”

Bayta Mallow smiled as she gazed at her husband. “Oh Toran, you’ve completely forgotten about the Mule, haven’t you？”

Suddenly, she shifted her gaze and exclaimed, “Look, Toran！ There’s a clown doing a handstand and running towards us！”

The clown approached them, panting heavily. “Can you help me？ I’m being chased by the beach patrol！” He looked at them closely. “You must be from Terminus, right？ Welcome to Kalgan.”

“Did you do something wrong?” Bayta asked the clown.

“Yes, ma’am. I escaped from the Mule’s palace,” the clown said, bowing his head. “My name is Bobo Magnifico Giganticus. Can you help me？Please call me Bobo.”

Bayta turned to Toran. “Toran, what should we do?”

Toran thought for a moment. “There’s a saying, ‘See what is right and do not do it—lack of courage.’ We should help him.”

“Is that so？ We’re supposed to be on vacation！” Bayta sighed but quickly made up her mind. “Well, then, let’s head back to the ship in the hangar.”

Bayta turned to the clown. “Wait, what did you just say? Clown! Did you say you escaped from the Mule？”
