Synopsis

The year before Seldon’s trial began, that is, in the year 12066 of the Galactic Calendar, Daneel Olivaw sets out on a journey of exploration to Earth, the oldest home planet of humanity, in order to invite Gaal Dornick from Synnax and to reinforce Hari Seldon’s “psychohistory” and the two Foundations.

Daneel’s exploration was about to mark the beginning of a new epic for Foundation.　 He headed for Hari Seldon’s homeworld because he wanted to challenge his Zeroth Law with the potential of humans that robots do not have.　 He had a premonition that something would come out of it！

Following Daneel’s instructions, Gaal arrived on Trantor carrying Daneel’s substantial credit bag. Everything was fine until he met Hari Seldon, but as soon as Gaal met him, he and Hari were put in custody for trial.

Hari’s prediction of the future was that there was a 92.5% chance that the Trantor Galactic Empire would be destroyed within the next 500 years.

Chapter １１
