Part 2 Gaia

Introduction:

The year before Seldon’s trial began, specifically in the year 12066 of the Galactic Calendar, Daneel Olivaw embarks on an expedition to Earth, the ancestral home planet of humanity. His purpose is to invite Gaal Dornick from Synnax and reinforce Hari Seldon’s “psychohistory” and the two Foundations. My science fiction work, titled “Yi Yin’s,” is heavily based on Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series and infused with the philosophy of “movement and newness” by philosopher North Whitehead.

Synopsis:

Finally, Daneel discovered an ocean planet that resembled Earth, beyond the hemisphere of the Milky Way Galaxy. Daneel assumed the name Hummin, as he had done before, and entered the Synnax University campus as if nothing had happened, awaiting Gaal Dornick. For some reason, Gaal began to endlessly share with Hummin what he had discovered. Daneel, a robot, was struck by Gaal Dornick’s extraordinary insight and was left speechless. Daneel’s exploration was about to mark the beginning of a new epic for the Foundation. He aimed to reach Hari Seldon’s homeworld, driven by the desire to challenge the Zeroth Law with the potential that humans possess but robots lack. He had a premonition that something significant would emerge from there!

Chapter 6

Through a view of the porthole of the Sympathic Daneel saw a radioactive flash on the Earth’s horizon. horizon. Even in the sky, countless luminous phenomena caused by radioactivity occurred repeatedly, overshadowing the stars at night. Near the surface, it felt as if the air was on the verge of bursting due to high levels of radioactivity in certain areas. In some places, the concentration was so high that it was terrifying. Daneel had finally arrived at the destination of his exploration, the planet he had wanted to come to but also didn’t want to come to. “The planets of Niff and Helicon are similar, but they have their issues.

Even though Amadiro and Mandamus caused the Earth to become radioactive twenty thousand years ago, were my ally R. Giskard Reventlov and I correct in our judgment? This state of affairs is chaotic! Once, a nuclear facility on Niff collapsed due to a tsunami, and radiation spread in all directions. At that time, the government and politicians took no responsibility whatsoever. The same was true for the indiscriminate killing incident by the Omega Cult. They had prior knowledge but did not take action. The Heliconians’ home world is even more brutal. They are mercilessly slaughtering people in the surrounding countries. The planet Gaia represents an ideal that can be achieved. However, ethics are the key!

But, Elijah !
I’ve returned! My dear friend!”
