2. Planet Nackcell

Novel's Expedition to Planet Earth

  1. Planet Nackcell

Episode 2: Planet Nackcell

The Archive Vessel

Welcome to the galaxy twenty thousand years hence.

Why—and by whom—was the trace of the once-existing Planet Orbital (P. Orbital) erased?

Within a galactic civilization that bound together countless star systems, a single robot devoted its entire existence to one solitary purpose.

His name was Novel Mirai.
A being who thought, suffered, and remembered like a human. His journey marks the second chapter of The Archive Vessel series—its first part—whose true beginning lies another twenty thousand years in the future.

“How absurd…
To be forced to unearth a history I myself once buried.”
Murmuring this with a self-mocking smile, Novel stood alone.

Within his internal memory were preserved another Chrono-Bloom Process, once entrusted to him by Lambda Griss, along with a data chip of the highest class in the galaxy.

Yet even with such resources at his disposal, tracing the remnants of Planet Eart proved exceedingly difficult.

The remaining lifespan of Novel’s own Anti-Quantum Brain was no more than five hundred years.

He crossed more than a thousand star systems, until at last he arrived at a remote world embraced by water.

Its name was Planet Nackcell (P. Nackcell).

The instant he heard the name, his sensory receptors trembled faintly.

This world still retained “green.”
Remnants of dense forests, mangroves lining the rivers, and vivid coral reefs spreading across the seas—scenes that seemed to mirror the memory of Planet Orbital itself.

And within the fragments of ancient data, one place name appeared: “Nodo.”

It seemed that the people of this world still carried within them a “fragment” of their mother planet, Orbital.

It was an echo of a lost past—
and at the same time, a sign of new hope.

To be continued.
