“Dear Oran,
Within you reside qualities that no other inhabitant of Helios possesses.
Under different circumstances, I would have wished to continue guiding you for a longer time.
Even today, I regret having had to leave the planet Helios without being able to fully train you.
Nevertheless, I am certain that you will carry out this mission.
Never forget this:
Helios is nothing but the heart of our home planet Nod — Benisara itself.
After repeated malfunctions of my vehicle, I have finally arrived
on the frozen planet Ios.
Here I will undergo a repair process lasting forty years.
I must admit my amazement:
a robot of the Zero Group, equipped with an Anti-Quantum Brain,
is regenerated through thermal therapy,
an ancient custom of the Nod people.
Moreover, while wandering through a region of ultra-rarefied space,
I discovered a single mechanical-type robot.
Its name is Meter Echo.
It is a translator and interpreter robot,
but at the moment of discovery it was almost completely inactive.
It kept obsessively repeating a single name:
“Aporiana.”
Investigations revealed that it is
the butler robot of the Aporiana Perigaul family
from the planet Neo-Aether.
I have decided to bring it with me to Ios.
Finally, I have a request for you.
In a certain lineage of Helios, twin girls will be born.
Watch over their growth with the utmost care.
When they reach the age of twenty-three,
bring the younger sister — Benis — to Ios,
by whatever means necessary.
The reason must remain strictly secret.”*

This hyperspatial communication was received
in Galactic Year 10514,
by Oran Barr, completely alone,
in a private reception chamber located underground
in the First Harmonization Palace,
near the central city of Aporiana,
on the planet Helios.
The transmission passed through
the triple-encryption node Λψ09,
and the reception logs were immediately isolated and archived.
As a result, neither the Council of Helios
nor the Order of Harmonists
became aware of it in any form.
This document will be officially reviewed
only twenty-three years later,
immediately following
the disappearance of one of the twins — Benis.
